What Is Urban Wood?

Urban Wood refers to lumber from trees removed from urban areas due to disease, storm damage, or development. Instead of being sent to a landfill, Re:Purpose Savannah mills and reintroduces urban lumber into Savannah’s community for reuse.

Donate A Tree

Re:Purpose Savannah accepts tree donations with minimum measurements of 10” in diameter and 5’ long. Sought after species include :  live oak, white oak, hickory, cedar, cypress, magnolia, and pecan species. Please consider donating trees or lumber to support us in creating a sustainable future.

Re:Purpose Savannah provides Savannah’s homeowners, contractors, builders, woodworkers, and craft community with irreplaceable salvaged lumber. Local urban wood establishes community pride between people and their environment.
